A good night for the button box
« on: October 02, 2017, 11:44:29 PM »
Just back from Thurso Fiddle and Accordion club

A good night for the button box - Three top players on great form.
Ian Cruickshanks, Brandon Mcphee and Daniel McPhee.

Mind you, made it even harder than usual for me to get up and do my wee bit!

All this and Robert Nairn next month.

A Superb night , Ian Cruickshanks & company  was in top form , treating us to a wide variety of fine tunes. Nice to see the committee bring an artiste Of such prestige up to our local Box & Fiddle Club 🎼🙂

"Just got back from Thurso Fiddle and Accordion club"

correction -            Thurso Accordion and Fiddle club.

Just noticed that one. Don't know what got into me giving fiddle top billing.

You could always lay the blame on having too much Amber Nectar ;) ;D

Thanks  Andy and Daniel, good to see you both and Brandon, a long journey for one gig but a good journey home and enjoyed the club again after a 33 year gap. Long live the button box!

Another brilliant night at the club, great playing from Robert Nairn on both 3 row and 2 row - a good turn out and well received by an appreciative audience.
