Use of Midi for the three row
« on: November 02, 2017, 04:38:05 PM »
I find the midi on the left hand very handy for the three row. I even use it sometimes for practicing, one of my Sharinos has it installed and hopefully I’ll have it my latest sharino soon.
I think it makes a huge difference to the player. The one I have is music-tech , but they also say limex is very good.
Does anyone else use midi?

I use the V3 Desktop, an expander with a dedicated Celtic soundboard, with a 5 row midi'd accordion and find it very good for simulating Celtic instruments.
Off topic though I suppose Daniel....in a purist sense.....

I use a Roland bk-7m. It has about six piano bass sounds but those are fine. Very authentic sounding , and the strings are nice , I think for me personally the bass midi is all I need

Here’s a wee demo of the strings.
