Future of the Button Box Forum
« on: September 30, 2018, 01:50:47 PM »
Since announcing that I intended giving up running this forum I've looked at ways of preserving some of the material, e.g. the photo Gallery and some of the items linked from the Home page. That included considering setting up a separate website to store all that stuff. Frankly, it’s all too much bother. I've concluded that the simplest solution is to leave everything as it is. The links will remain active, and anyone who wants to continue using the forum may do so. I've got plenty of space for it in my web space, so there’s no cost implication.
I may do some tidying up e.g. a “cull” of inactive members, say those who haven’t logged in in the last six months.

I second that, and of course many thanks for all your work in starting and maintaining the forum.
